Grandhotel Pupp is the most beautiful casino hotel in this database. The casino itself is serious, the hotel is exceptional, and the value proposition β β¬260 for a 5-star room plus full casino access β is extraordinary by Western European standards.
The Hotel
The Grand Hotel Pupp opened in 1701. A grand Baroque-style palace at the foot of the Slavkov Forest. The entrance hall, with its double marble staircase, is one of the great hotel lobbies in Central Europe. Rooms are classically furnished with high ceilings and heavy curtains. The spa is excellent β thermal facilities, pool, and treatment rooms. Casino Royale (2006) filmed several scenes here.
The Casino
Casino Pupp is housed in the east wing. The main gaming room has five roulette tables arranged in a horseshoe around a central blackjack section β a deliberately theatrical layout. The ceiling is ornate, the lighting is warm, and the table staff are formally dressed. Table limits are generous: roulette to β¬1,000, baccarat's private salon to β¬2,000. The poker room has 6 tables for evening cash games.
The Food & Drink
Three restaurants. Becher's Bar serves Austrian-Czech cuisine with an extensive wine list β the Bohemian dumplings with roast duck are excellent. Restaurant DvoΕΓ‘k handles fine dining. The spa cafΓ© is light and healthy. Room service until midnight.

Best for: Couples combining spa + casino; architecture enthusiasts; anyone who has seen Casino Royale and wants to stay in that hotel; serious roulette players who want table limits without London prices.
Skip if: You're purely a poker player β the poker room is limited in hours and table count. Kings Casino Rozvadov is the better choice.
